New road works to start on A171
Received the latest carriageway news this morning from Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council for your information:
“Major carriageway improvement works are due to commence on the A171 Guisborough Road between Waterfall Roundabout & Charltons – please see map below showing extents in pink.”
The work is scheduled to take place under traffic lights between the hours of 8:00 and 16:30 on the following dates:
Monday 2nd September – Friday 13th September
Monday 16th September – Friday 20th September
Monday 23rd September – Thursday 26th September
“These dates are weather permitting and all efforts will be made to minimise disruption. Advance notice boards will be erected and all residents directly affected by the works will be notified by letter drop. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.”
