A Coulby Newham woman has finally received an NHS procedure after her appointment was cancelled and rearranged five times. The resident had originally been due to have the procedure in October, but repeated cancellations eventually left her facing a wait until May.

After she contacted Luke Myer MP, he took the case directly to the NHS, asking why the procedure kept being cancelled and demanding it be brought forward. Within days, she was offered a new slot at the Friarage and finally had the procedure this week – months earlier than the date she had been given.
