Easterside alleyway finally cleaned up

Luke Myer MP helped a resident in Easterside who had repeatedly reported an overgrown, fly-tipped alleyway between Bollington Road and Brettenham Avenue that was still being left in a dangerous state.

After Luke and his team kept pressing Middlesbrough Council and the Mayor’s office, the alleyway was fully cleared, with vegetation cut back and rubbish removed, and is now on the council’s radar for future maintenance.

Luke regularly works with the Council to resolve long-running local environment issues such as fly-tipping, overgrown paths and problem alleyways, especially where residents feel their reports have gone unanswered. He will continue to push for cleaner, safer neighbourhoods across Easterside and south Middlesbrough.
