Luke celebrates Small Business Saturday

Today (7 December 2024) Luke Myer MP has been out & about supporting local businesses for Small Business Saturday.

He started the day in Hemlington, visiting Cafe Happy Sapid as well as the local ‘Christmas in Hemlington’ fair with Cllr Tom Mohan, Cllr Nicky Walker, and several local Teesside businesses. Following this, he visited Marton Bistro for a warming soup, before attending Stainton Arts Fayre and supporting The Rabbit Hole bakery and other local businesses getting into the festive spirit.

Luke then made his way over to Guisborough, where he met the owner of ‘JAaacks Cafe’, Carley Walton, along with Hutton Lib Dem councillor Jemma Joy. Following this, he visited Brass Monkey with his team for a mulled cider.

Luke is proud to support local businesses. He hosts a regular ‘Small Business Spotlight’ on social media, celebrating independent businesses in the constituency. In Parliament, he works closely with the Federation of Small Businesses, and has recently hosted them for policy discussions with MPs.
