This month, Luke Myer MP helped a Park End resident who was facing a no-fault eviction and struggling to secure social housing despite being in Band 1. 

After Luke’s office took up her case with Middlesbrough Council and Thirteen Group to ensure it received proper attention, she was offered a suitable property just days after Luke intervened.

She has now confirmed she had moved into her new home and was safely rehoused, bringing a stressful period for her family to an end.

Luke works closely with local housing providers to make sure urgent cases are resolved quickly and fairly, helping families secure stable accommodation without unnecessary delays. He and his team continue to support residents navigating the housing system so they receive timely decisions and clear communication.
