Luke Myer MP is inviting dads from across Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland to take part in an evening of conversation and support at Guisborough Town Football Club on Friday 4th April from 6 to 8pm.
The event is part of a nationwide initiative with The Dad Shift, bringing fathers together to discuss the realities of modern parenting, balancing work and family life, the pressures of raising children today, and how policies like improved paternity leave could make a difference.
Luke Myer MP said:
“Fathers play such a vital role in their children’s lives, but too often they do not get the time or support they need. Whether it is securing better paternity leave, tackling the pressures of work-life balance, or just having the space to talk, this event is about making sure dads are heard.”
Whether you are a new dad, an experienced father, or preparing for parenthood, this is a chance to share experiences, connect with other local dads, and be part of the conversation on what support fathers need.
📍 Where? Guisborough Town FC, Howlbeck Road, Guisborough, TS14 6LE
🕕 When? Friday 4 April, 6 to 8pm
All dads are welcome, come along, have a chat, and join the discussion on shaping a better future for fathers and families.
