Following the tragic death of Guisborough resident and former Royal Marine Sam Morgan, Luke has pressed the Government to act on veteran mental health.

He met with local veterans to understand their needs, and secured a meeting with the Veterans Minister alongside Anna Turley MP. Their joint letter can be read at the bottom of this page.

Luke also spoke in Parliament to pay tribute to Sam and the local veteran community, and urge Government to treat the issue of veteran mental health as a priority. View his contribution here:

Luke has committed to keep fighting on this issue. He will continue to work with local veterans, and will bring Veterans Minister Carns to Redcar & Cleveland to meet with them directly.
