Today (15 May 2025) Luke Myer MP visited Royce House, a new recovery facility based in the Brickyards in Brotton.
The centre, operated by Recovery Connections, marks a major step forward in providing vital support for those facing substance abuse and addiction in East Cleveland.
Luke praised the transformation of the site and the work of Recovery Connections, describing the organisation as “an excellent team changing lives through compassion, care, and community.”
“It’s great to see this facility finally moving forward — and in a way that truly listens to and works with the local community,” he said.
The visit follows Luke’s comments in Parliament earlier this year, where he highlighted the importance of local addiction recovery services and commended the work taking place in Brotton. Luke’s intervention can be viewed here.
