This week, Luke Myer MP helped a resident in Loftus whose Enhanced DBS check had been stuck at Stage 4 for weeks, putting a new job offer at risk. After Luke contacted the Disclosure and Barring Service and pressed for an urgent review, the check was completed and the resident was able to move forwards with their employment.

Luke regularly supports constituents facing delays with DBS checks, passport processing and other essential documents, particularly where hold-ups threaten work or training opportunities. He will continue working with national agencies to ensure local people are not unfairly held back by administrative backlogs.
