29th July 2025 – Hemlington

A brilliant week of community events in Hemlington concluded with a summer fun day for local families.

The South Middlesbrough neighbourhood team, alongside Luke Myer MP and Councillors Tom Mohan and Nicky Walker, organised a range of activities throughout the week. Residents were able to take part in healthy cooking sessions, celebrate local culture and cuisine, access housing advice, and join in a community clean-up featuring litter picking and skips.

On Friday, local children enjoyed games, face-painting, and other activities as part of the fun day, rounding off the week with a chance for families to come together and enjoy the summer.
