Luke Myer MP paid a visit to Marton Manor Primary School earlier this month, where he met with the School Council over cake and a cuppa.
The visit gave pupils the chance to share their ideas about the school and local area, before putting Luke to work judging a hotly contested Easter competition. From intricately decorated eggs to an impressive spread of cakes, the standard was high and decisions were not easy.
The visit forms part of Luke’s ongoing programme of school visits across the constituency, hearing directly from young people about their priorities and experiences and teaching about democracy.
