Luke visits Stainton community groups

Today (3 December 2023) Luke visited community organisations in Stainton gearing up for Christmas.

He spent time at the Church of St Peter & St Paul, the parish church for Stainton, Thornton, Maltby and Hemlington. Here, he met the vicar Revd. Laura Wild, her team of volunteers, and spent time meeting parishioners at the church Coffee Morning.

After this, he visited the regular Arts, Crafts & Gifts Fair at Stainton Memorial Hall, where he met local businesses.

Luke said: “It was lovely to be out meeting residents, businesses and community groups in Stainton today. In particular, I enjoyed the fantastic cakes from The Rabbit Hole! I hope everybody in Stainton and Thornton enjoys a wonderful Christmas period.”
