“I am deeply saddened to learn about the break-in at Guisborough Town Football Club yesterday evening at around 7.20pm, during which significant damage was caused, and televisions and spirits were stolen. This is a devastating blow to the club, which relies on the tireless efforts of its hardworking team of volunteers to bring our community together.
“I have spoken directly with Inspector Neil Deluce, and I can confirm that multiple lines of enquiry are being actively pursued by the police. I want to assure residents and local businesses that this incident is being taken very seriously, and I urge everyone to remain vigilant.
“If anyone has any information or witnessed anything suspicious in the area around this time, I encourage you to contact Cleveland Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.
“Our football club is at the heart of our community, and it’s heartbreaking to see it targeted in this way. Let’s come together to support the volunteers and ensure we help prevent such incidents in the future. Thank you for your ongoing solidarity and care for our town.”
