Nicola Turner, a long-serving teacher at St Paulinus Catholic Primary School in Guisborough, has been thanked personally by Luke Myer MP ahead of her upcoming retirement.

Children from St Paulinus visited Parliament recently and told Luke about Mrs Turner’s upcoming retirement. Luke committed to visit the school on her last day to thank her for her years of dedication and commitment to local children.

Visiting the school, Luke said:
“Teachers like Mrs Turner make such a difference in young people’s lives, giving them confidence and helping them believe in themselves. It was lovely to visit St Paulinus to hear about everything she has done for her pupils. Congratulations to Mrs Turner on her retirement and thank you for everything you have done for children in Guisborough.”
