People across Middlesbrough are fed up with masked yobs intimidating residents, riding off-road bikes dangerously and causing misery in our communities. Balaclavas are being used to hide identities and evade accountability. Enough is enough.
We’re calling on Middlesbrough Council to introduce a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) to give police stronger powers to tackle the use of balaclavas in connection with antisocial behaviour.
Everyone deserves to feel safe in their own community.
