This week, Luke Myer MP helped secure progress for a resident in Coulby Newham after two straightforward Land Registry title transfers were left stuck in months-long delays. The constituent had been told she may have to wait until early 2026 before the applications were processed — despite submitting them months earlier.

After Luke intervened with the Land Registry, they reviewed both applications and confirmed that action would now be taken. The constituent has since expressed her gratitude for Luke’s support and highlighted wider concerns about the impact of HMLR backlogs on homeowners and the property sector.
