Local Labour leaders came together to recognise Teesside community champions at the annual BBC Tees Make A Difference Awards in Stockton.

Luke Myer MP congratulated a range of groups from the Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland constituency, including finalists Boosbeck Village Hall who reached top 4 in the Community category out of 600 groups nominated, and Charlotte Leak of Lingdale Village Hall who won the Great Neighbour Award.
