Today (10 May) Luke Myer MP was out on the doorstep in Boosbeck, joined by Councillor John McCue and local Labour volunteers, to speak with residents and pick up local concerns.
With sunny weather on their side, the team had valuable conversations about issues affecting the community, many of which are now being raised directly with the council. Luke thanked residents for taking the time to share their views and reaffirmed his commitment to staying in close touch with the people he represents.
He also praised Councillor John McCue for his work since being elected in 2023. “John has been a tireless advocate for local people and was instrumental in helping deliver the Tees Valley Multibank, run by The Junction. It’s now supporting thousands of families across Teesside,” Luke said.
Luke also highlighted the strong partnership between John and fellow councillor Ursula Earl, calling them “a great team for Skelton West.”
