Luke drops in on Prior Pursglove Politics class

Luke Myer MP returned to his old college, Prior Pursglove in Guisborough, where he joined local ward councillor Bill Suthers for a discussion with Year 12 Politics students.

The session covered a wide range of topics – from how decisions are made locally and nationally, to what it takes to turn ideas into action. Students asked thoughtful and challenging questions throughout, reflecting their strong interest in current affairs and public service.

Luke Myer MP said:

“It’s always great to be back at Prior. The students’ questions were sharp and engaged; it’s encouraging to see such enthusiasm for how politics can make a difference. It’s clear we’ve got the next generation of Teesside changemakers here..”

He also thanked the Politics team for their continued work inspiring young people across the area.
