Luke marks 100th surgery

Yesterday (5th August 2026), Luke Myer MP held his 100th constituency surgery since being elected, meeting residents in Coulby Newham to discuss the issues affecting them and their families.

Constituents raised concerns about social care, assisted dying, antisocial behaviour and access to social housing.

Luke holds surgeries throughout Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland, giving residents the opportunity to raise local problems and seek support with individual casework.

Luke Myer MP said:

“I’m really proud to have held my 100th surgery and to be out and about throughout the year in every part of our constituency.

“Helping people with their problems is what being a local MP is all about for me. Whether somebody needs support with housing, public services or another issue, my team and I will always do what we can to help.”

Further surgeries will take place this month in Loftus, Moorsholm, Carlin How and Easterside.

Residents can book an appointment at lukemyer.uk/surgeries.
