Luke Myer MP marked the start of Easter week by visiting Newham Grange Farm in Coulby Newham.
Newham Grange is a farm park and conservation centre overseen by Middlesbrough Council – one of only 16 such centres nationally approved by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. It is open daily from 10am to 5:30pm on Wykeham Way.
Luke Myer MP said: “It was good to be at Newham Grange Farm to meet Wendy and Mark and the team, and discuss what I can do to support them. The farm is a credit to Middlesbrough Council and to our area.”
“They have a range of family activities underway for Easter, and I hope people take part. I wish everyone across our communities a wonderful Easter week.”
Luke has been a firm supporter of local farming since being elected, meeting multiple times with the NFU and local farmers, and refusing to vote to increase their taxes. He also runs a regular Small Business Spotlight feature, and agreed to publish one for Newham Grange Farm; this can be viewed below.
