Luke Myer MP dropped in to the Christmas Fayre at Nunthorpe Methodist Church, where he spoke with volunteers from the church and the parish council and supported the event.

During the visit, Luke purchased a painting of Saltburn beach by local artist Shirley Hinchley. Proceeds from the artwork are being used to support art therapy for Ukrainian children. Luke said he would be delighted to bring a piece of local art to Parliament, where the painting will go on display in his office.

He thanked all the volunteers at Nunthorpe Methodist Church for organising a warm and welcoming event that showcased the generosity and talent of the local community.
