During his visit, pupils proudly spoke about their local area and shared their ideas on how they could work with their MP to make improvements in their community.

Luke Myer MP said:
“It was fantastic to drop by St Joseph’s and Hummersea Primary Schools and see the inspiring work going on in Loftus. I know how much effort goes into creating a supportive and positive place for children to learn, and both schools are doing outstanding work. I was really struck by how proud the pupils were of their area, and I’ll be taking forward some of the brilliant ideas they shared with me.”

“It was great to meet the hardworking and dedicated teachers and staff who give so much to their school communities. A huge thank you to everyone for the warm welcome.”
