Luke Myer MP has helped a Hemlington resident, a veteran and former NHS worker, whose ill-health pension had been repeatedly delayed and was causing financial strain for his family.
After Luke raised the issue directly with NHS Pensions and the NHS Business Services Authority, the pension was processed swiftly and put into payment, resolving the ongoing difficulties. The constituent described the outcome as “an immense relief”.
Luke regularly supports residents with pension, welfare and NHS-related issues, stepping in where delays or miscommunication leave people in limbo.
