Luke visits Christmas events in Coulby Newham

Luke and his wife Beth visited local Christmas events in Coulby Newham this weekend that brought residents and community groups together.

Their first stop was Langdon Square Community Centre, which hosted a Christmas Fun Day featuring live music, stalls, activities for children and festive refreshments. Luke supported the raffles being held in aid of the local cancer support group and the area’s foodbank. Both organisations provide valuable support to local families, and the event attracted strong community backing.

Luke and Beth then visited the Parkway Centre for its weekend Christmas market. The Parkway Centre hosts regular markets in its main thoroughfares, with small businesses invited to run stalls every Wednesday and Saturday. During November and December these become Christmas themed, offering handmade gifts and seasonal products. The afternoon saw a steady flow of shoppers and strong interest in the independent traders taking part.

Luke thanked organisers, volunteers and stallholders at both venues for creating welcoming events that support local groups and small businesses at an important time of year.

Luke is proud to be an active constituency MP, getting out and about in the community all year round.
