Luke visits National Innovation Centre for Data

Part of his campaign for jobs and investment in digital, AI and technology for Teesside

Wednesday 6th August – Newcastle

Luke Myer MP recently visited the National Innovation Centre for Data at The Catalyst in Newcastle as part of his campaign to secure more jobs and investment in digital, AI and technology for Teesside.

The centre works with businesses, public sector bodies and other organisations to help them make the most of data and new technologies. It brings together expert staff and cutting-edge facilities to support innovation, improve productivity and develop skills.

The North East is already home to some of the country’s most exciting work in technology and digital services. Centres like this can help drive growth by supporting new business opportunities, creating skilled jobs and ensuring the UK remains competitive in a fast-changing global economy.

Luke is determined that Teesside should benefit from this kind of innovation and investment, helping to build a stronger local economy for the future.
