Over £10,000 won back for constituency

Luke Myer MP has congratulated his team of caseworkers who are working hard daily and have won back more than £10,000 for constituents since Luke was elected in July.

Most of this amount has come from challenging and overturning flawed decisions made by the DWP regarding Universal Credit or Pension Credit.

Luke said, “A huge thank you to my constituency team who spend hours supporting our constituents in Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland. This is absolutely the heart and soul of the job and much of the unseen work that takes place.

“When I was elected, I said I wouldn’t put a big team in Westminster, I’d have a big team of local caseworkers helping people every day. We are fighting for the best outcomes for people with councils, housing associations, the NHS, government departments and private companies.

I am extremely proud of my team and the work they do that assists me to achieve these positive outcomes like these for our residents.”
