East Cleveland is a place of proud communities, rich heritage, and enormous potential. Yet for too long, our villages and towns have risked being overlooked in regional plans.

We believe every resident deserves the chance to share in the opportunities of Tees Valley’s growth. That means action to:

• Ensure that investment and regeneration reach every community.
• Improve transport links so residents can access jobs, healthcare, and education.
• Strengthen skills and training opportunities for young people and adults.
• Support thriving high streets, industrial estates, and local businesses.
• Secure decent, affordable housing and healthier communities, with fair access to health services.
• Recognise the role of voluntary and community organisations as long-term partners.
• Provide clear, long-term planning and coordination so that local employers, councils and community groups can play their full part.

Together, we call on the Tees Valley Combined Authority and its partners to embed these principles in their plans, and advance the policies outlined in the East Cleveland Growth Plan, so that our area is never left behind.

We pledge to support fair investment in East Cleveland – in transport, skills, housing, health, and local business – so that our villages and towns share fully in the Tees Valley’s growth.
