Luke Myer MP held a advice surgery in Park End this evening (19 November), where residents raised issues about transport, housing, social services, and the NHS, alongside a number of other individual casework issues.
The surgery was his 62nd since being elected last year. Luke has made regular face-to-face surgeries a core part of his work as local MP, ensuring that residents in every part of the constituency can speak with him directly. The Evening Gazette recently reported how he has “averaged nearly one constituency surgery a week” since entering Parliament, working as a constituency-focused MP.
Luke and his team will now be following up with the council, local agencies and government departments where required to secure help for those who came along.
He told several residents about the £20m Park End Fund, which he is gathering views on. Park End residents can share their views on how to spend the money in the area here.
Constituents who would like to request an appointment for a future surgery can do so at lukemyer.uk/surgeries or by emailing luke.myer.mp@parliament.uk or calling 02072197513. Luke’s team will follow up to confirm timeslots and venue details.
