Luke Myer MP helped secure an £798 back payment for a woman in Skelton after errors in her Universal Credit entitlement left her underpaid for several months. Following detailed checks by Luke’s casework team, the Department for Work and Pensions accepted she had not been receiving the correct rate since August and issued the missing payment in full.

Luke continues to support residents who face delays or mistakes in the welfare system, and has been pressing for faster, fairer decisions for carers and low-income families across East Cleveland.
