Luke Myer MP attends opening of Morgan House Veteran Support Centre in Boosbeck

Luke Myer MP was delighted to join Healthier Heroes CIC, Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, Armed Forces Champion David Taylor, and the family of Sam Morgan for the official opening of Morgan House in Boosbeck.

The new centre represents a major step forward in providing support and stability for veterans across East Cleveland.

Morgan House has been developed with remarkable dedication from local partners and volunteers, who have transformed the building into a warm and welcoming space for those who have served. The centre will offer practical help, tailored support, and a strong sense of community for veterans who need it most.

Luke praised the project team for their hard work and commitment over recent months, noting the profound impact the centre will have for years to come. He also recognised the significance of the space as a lasting and meaningful legacy for Sam, whose memory continues to inspire those involved in the project.

Luke said that Morgan House shows what can be achieved when local people, community groups, and public bodies work together with a shared purpose. He looks forward to supporting the centre as it grows and continues to serve veterans across the area.
